FUT/Strip vs FUE

FUE hair transplants are the first choice of the modern hairdressers in Sweden. FUT is considered an old method, some clinics still perform FUT in Sweden.The FUT/Strip operation is also called a "strip operation" where a strip of scalp is surgically removed from the donor area. The hair follicles are then removed from the strip and then transplanted.

FUT vs FUE

Both methods, of course, provide new hair on the bald areas, but the number of hair follicles that can be transplanted is significantly reduced with FUT and the healing time is much more noticeable to the patient, as a large flap of skin on the back of the head has been cut away, it also often means a large scar.
